Welcome to Classical in Church. Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “ToS”) carefully before using the https://www.classicalinchurch.com website (the “Service”) operated by Matt Lagus DBA Classical in Church (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
By accessing or using our Service, purchasing our digital products, enrolling in Worship Crash Course, or participating in our SoundCheck community, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.
1. Eligibility & Age Restrictions
By purchasing any product or creating an account on this Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
Course Access: Individuals under the age of 18 (“Minors”) may only access our static digital course materials (such as pre-recorded video lessons and downloadable files) with the explicit involvement, consent, and direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
SoundCheck Community & Live Coaching: Our interactive community space (SoundCheck) and any premium packages or tiers within the Worship Crash Course that include live, 1-on-1 video or audio coaching sessions are strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not allow minors to participate in the community feed or live 1-on-1 coaching services under any circumstances. If we discover an interactive or live coaching membership was purchased by or for a minor, access to the community and live sessions will be terminated immediately without liability.
2. Purchases, Accounts, and Billing
When you create an account or purchase Worship Crash Course, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.
Payment Processing: All payments are securely processed through third-party processors (such as Stripe). We do not store your credit card information.
Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access your student dashboard and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable sales, use, value-added (VAT), or other taxes and duties associated with your purchase of the Service. When required by law, our payment processors will calculate and collect applicable international taxes at checkout based on your geographical location.
3. Intellectual Property & Limited License
The Service, its original content, features, functionality, video tutorials, downloadable PDFs, cheat sheets, and the curriculum layout of Worship Crash Course are and will remain the exclusive property of Classical in Church and its licensors.
Granted License: When you purchase our training materials, you are granted a single, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial educational use.
Prohibited Actions: You may not copy, share, redistribute, resell, or reproduce any part of our videos, modules, or worksheets without express written consent from us. Sharing your login credentials with other musicians or church volunteers is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination of access without a refund.
4. Community Guidelines & User Content (SoundCheck)
Our community space, SoundCheck, is designed to be a supportive environment exclusively for adult musicians (18+) to share video submissions, audio tracks, and critiques.
User Content: You retain ownership of any videos or files you submit to the platform. However, by uploading content (such as unlisted video links or media files) to SoundCheck, you grant Classical in Church a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content to other members within the private portal.
Prohibitions: You agree not to post any material that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or violates copyright laws.
Monitoring & Moderation: We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, edit, or remove user content that we deem in our sole discretion to violate these Terms or threaten the safety and culture of the group.
5. Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Due to the digital nature of our materials, resources, and instant dashboard access upon purchase, refunds for Worship Crash Course are governed by the specific guarantee outlined on the sales page at the time of purchase.
If a specific money-back guarantee period is offered, refund requests must be submitted in writing to team@classicalinchurch.com strictly within that designated window. Refund requests submitted after the specified guarantee period will not be honored.
6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
Our programs are educational resources designed to build confidence and musical skill. While we provide the structural blueprint to transition from classical to worship environments, we cannot guarantee specific placements in a local church band or ministry outcomes, as individual results depend entirely on personal effort, baseline skill, and local ministry dynamics.
In no event shall Classical in Church, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
7. International Users & Compliance

Furthermore, you represent and warrant that you are not located in any country or jurisdiction currently subject to a comprehensive United States trade embargo, and that you are not included on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
