Classical in Church (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://www.classicalinchurch.com website, the Worship Crash Course training portal, and the SoundCheck community platform (collectively, the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our training, courses, and community spaces to you.

• Personal Data: While using our Service, purchasing our digital products, enrolling in Worship Crash Course, or registering for the SoundCheck community, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Billing address and payment details (processed securely via Stripe)

  • Cookies and Usage Data

• User-Generated Content (SoundCheck): Video clips, audio tracks, performances, or unlisted media links (e.g., YouTube) voluntarily uploaded, posted, or submitted by adult members for critique and peer feedback within our SoundCheck community boards.

• Usage Data: We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the specific pages or community threads of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data.

2. Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier.

• To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service, such as posting threads or replying to peers inside SoundCheck.

• To provide custom video critiques and coaching feedback inside the SoundCheck platform.

• To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our digital platforms and educational delivery.

4. Third-Party Service Providers & Infrastructure

We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, handle transactions, host our communities, and deliver training materials on our behalf. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

• Platform Hosting: Our digital academy and the SoundCheck community are built on Systeme.io. Your profile data, course completion metrics, comments, and community posts are processed through their secure data architecture.

• Payment Processing: All course transactions and community membership dues are securely passed to and handled by Stripe. We do not harvest, store, or view your raw credit card numbers.

5. Security & Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the United States and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

8. Processing of Audio & Video Data (SoundCheck)

By uploading video submissions or pasting unlisted media links into the SoundCheck community platform, you acknowledge that this media will be processed by our network infrastructure and displayed privately to other active adult students inside the course portal.

We respect your personal privacy: we will never repurpose your video submissions, playing clips, soundboard screenshots, text comments, or video critiques for public marketing, social media posts, or external promotional materials without obtaining your separate, explicit written consent.

9. Canada Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) Notice

We fully comply with CASL regulations. If you reside in Canada, you will only receive promotional marketing emails or launch sequences from Classical in Church if you have explicitly opted-in to our electronic subscription communications, or if an established business relationship exists (such as purchasing Worship Crash Course or joining SoundCheck). You retain the right to instantly revoke this consent at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link located in the footer of every email we send.

10. Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us (such as external software platforms or YouTube links posted within the SoundCheck feed). If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Service is targeted strictly toward adult music directors, musicians, and audio volunteers. Per our age restrictions, the interactive features of SoundCheck are closed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data without your supervision, please contact us so that we can take immediate steps to remove that information from our system servers.
